Yvette Fitzgerald serves as general counsel and corporate secretary for Kitware and operates out of our office located in Clifton Park, New York. She is responsible for overseeing legal, contracts, governance, and export control matters. She advises and supports the Board, management team, and teammates across all functions, including compliance, information security, and human resources.

Prior to joining Kitware, Yvette was a corporate litigation associate at Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell, where her practice focused on corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery. She represented clients in a wide range of matters including shareholder disputes, contract disputes, partnership dissolutions, derivative actions, and breach of fiduciary duty lawsuits.

Yvette is admitted to the bar in New York and Delaware.

Yvette received her Juris Doctor degree from the Marshall–Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary in 2000. In 1996, she received her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
