Building Interactive Web Applications with trame

A simple paradigm for modern application development
Speakers: Sebastien Jourdain, Lisa Avila
Visualization of land and what is below it.

Creating highly interactive or data intensive applications can be challenging in itself but if you want to venture to the web, things can become even more complicated. What if that was not true and you could leverage your existing team to create such applications? With trame, a single application can be deployed in the cloud, on HPC, run within Jupyter or bundled locally like any desktop application.

Trame is an open source framework that was developed by Kitware to solve interactive visualization needs on the web with VTK and ParaView. But trame goes beyond that and can empower any Python developers to create stunning interactive graphical interface to drive their own engine. From AI to 3D, nothing is too small or too big for trame.

During this webinar, Kitware’s trame experts will:

  1. Explore the future of application development and delivery – where it’s headed and how you can keep up
  2. Discuss how the simple design of trame makes it future proof and how its component approach lower the maintenance and development costs
  3. Explain the benefits of open source technology to drive innovation and reduce cost
  4. Demonstrate the capabilities of trame through various examples to spark ideas on what you could do with it in your domain
