Vito Gamberini

Vito Gamberini is an R&D engineer on Kitware’s Software Solutions Team. His major focus is enhancing CMake and supporting C++ ecosystem development.

Prior to working at Kitware, Vito was a teaching assistant at New York University (NYU) Tandon School of Engineering. While there, he founded the NYU Processor Design Team. The group was the first major computer engineering-focused student research team at the university, mentoring undergraduate students in computer architecture principles.

Vito also served as a submarine reactor operator for the United States Navy. He supported undersea research & development work aboard the USS Jimmy Carter.

Vito received his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the New York University Tandon School of Engineering.
