Supercomputing 2024.

November 17-22, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA

The International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis (SC’24) is the premier conference for supercomputing experts where they can discuss the latest developments, technologies, and applications in high-performance computing, networking, storage, and analysis. This conference provides researchers, industry leaders, and practitioners a platform to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and collaborate on cutting-edge advancements.

Kitware has been an integral part of the supercomputing community for over twenty years. Our journey began with the development of groundbreaking software such as ParaView, the Visualization Toolkit (VTK), and CMake, which laid the foundation for our continued success in the field. Over the years, we have evolved to create software that harnesses the power of the world’s most advanced computers and pushes the boundaries of scientific visualization and software processes. Today, we are committed to innovation and excellence in the areas of computer vision, data mangement, medical computing, and simulation workflows.

ANARI 3D Rendering Standard for HPC Visualization
Birds of a Feather Presentation | Tuesday, 19 November from 12:15 – 1:15 PM ET | Room B209
Session Leader: John Stone, NVIDIA

ANARI is a standard for 3D rendering that enables portable visualization with cutting-edge rendering techniques and hardware acceleration. It is an open and royalty-free initiative, developed collaboratively by the Khronos ANARI Working Group and its Advisory Panel. This session will offer a platform for direct engagement among members of the ANARI Working Group, developers of ANARI renderers, middleware creators, and HPC visualization application developers. Attendees will hear discussions and lightning talks on topics such as technical requirements for visualization applications relevant to the ANARI SDK and standard APIs, potential ANARI extensions and future feature standardization, user experiences and best practices, and ANARI hackathons.

As part of this ANARI session, Sankhesh Jhaveri, principal engineer on Kitware’s Scientific Computing Team, will be presenting on, “The Benefits, Challenges, and Future of Portable Rendering In VTK + ParaView.”
