Mary Elise joined Kitware’s business development team in January 2019 as a Technical Proposal Writer. She received a B.S. in Science Communication from Cornell University and an M.S. in Technical Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Prior to joining Kitware, Mary Elise held technical writing positions with KeyBank, Bank of America, and Pitney Bowes Software (formerly MapInfo), where she was responsible for writing, editing, and publishing a variety of user, reference, and software product documentation. Mary Elise has also been an active member of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) since 1995, holding several leadership roles and speaking at the 2018 regional conference in Rochester, NY.
