Kitware Appoints Heather James to Board of Directors, Renews Terms for Two Existing Members

Heather James joins Kitware’s Board, bringing a decade of business development expertise; Anthony Hoogs, Ph.D., and Robert Mandelbaum extend their tenures

Clifton Park, N.Y. (June 19, 2024) – Kitware, a leader in developing custom software solutions using open source technology and advanced AI, is pleased to announce the appointment of Heather James to its board of directors. Heather is an assistant director of business development at Kitware. She replaces Zach Mullen, whose board term has ended. The board also renewed terms for two existing members.

Heather’s extensive experience and skills in nurturing and growing partnerships, relationships, and programs will be a significant asset to the board. With a strong track record of identifying and securing business opportunities, Heather plays a crucial role in introducing Kitware’s technology to both new and existing clients. Her tenure at Kitware spans a decade, and since January 2022, she has excelled as an assistant director of business development.

Kitware is also extending terms for two existing board members, Anthony Hoogs, Ph.D. and Robert Mandelbaum, Ph.D. Anthony has served on Kitware’s board since 2019. As Kitware’s vice president of AI, Anthony shares his extensive technical insights and leadership in the areas of artificial intelligence and computer vision.

Robert was one of Kitware’s first independent board members. He has served on the board since 2021 and continues to bring a fresh perspective based on his impressive technical background and leadership experience.
