KHQ Family Outing to Schauber Stables

 In early June, KHQ families took a trip to Schauber Stables in Ballston Lake, New York. The muddy ground and light rain did not put a damper on our day. Everyone had so much fun making horse treats, doing arts and crafts, and petting the farm animals. We made a lot of new friends – Ellie the Lamb, Nacho the mini-donkey and Winston the pot belly pig. We were able to brush the horses, clean the stalls, take a trail ride and even got to paint one of the horses in our Kitware colors! Let’s not forget that we were on a Kitware outing…so we all got to enjoy a pizza picnic too!
