Harry Sun Awarded IEEE Senior Member

Zhaohui Harry Sun, Ph.D., a Staff Research and Development (R&D) Engineer for our Computer Vision group, has been awarded the honor of Senior Member of IEEE.  Only about 7.5% of the 367,000 IEEE higher-grade members hold this grade and enjoy this international recognition. Harry has been a member of Kitware since 2010 and has actively contributed to many deep learning, computer vision technologies related to image and video forensics, scene understanding, object detection and change detection.  In order to earn this honor through IEEE, members must meet specific criteria that demonstrate their level of accomplishment and commitment to furthering technology and research.  Harry’s depth of professional experience and active participation in research and technology as demonstrated through his publications (greater than 40), patents (greater than 20), participation in conferences, technical meetings and work at Kitware has placed him in this respected position within IEEE.
