This beginner course will introduce participants to the fundamental aspects of 3D Slicer, a free and open source software package for image analysis and scientific visualization. The course will guide participants in understanding the software interface, data loading and visualization functionality, and segmentation and registration capabilities.

Objectives

  • Familiarize participants with the 3D Slicer interface and basic tools
  • Enable participants to load, view, and manipulate medical imaging data
  • Learn the basic applications of 3D Slicer in medical imaging processing, including segmentation and registration

Prerequisites

  • Basic understanding of medical imaging
  • Basic understanding of computer graphics and visualization
