Betsy McPhail graduated from Union College with a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering with a mathematics minor in 2005. After working for a year as a programmer/analyst supporting hospital healthcare information systems, Betsy returned to school and earned her Master of Engineering in computer and systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2007. For the next seven years, Betsy was part of a small engineering team at Vistec Lithography working on electron-beam lithography systems. Betsy joined Kitware in August 2014 as a R&D Engineer.
